Installation

Currently while it is in development, there is no single point installer, instead you have to:

Install required packages

Install Brainstorm estudio (will come prepackaged with minimal estudio) at C:\Program Files\Brainstorm
Install external python 2.4.4 into your windows (from http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.4.4 ) – if you install normally to the default location C:\Python24, that is easier
Install pywin32 for python 2.4 (from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/)
Set an environment variable PYTHONHOME to the python install location, normally C:\Python24 – to do this you can either add this to your estudio.bat file, or easier: Find the Control Panel “System”, go to the Advanced Tab and select “Environment Variables” and click “New” under “System”
Install ctypes 1.0.2 for 2.4 (from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ctypes/)
Install the microsoft XPS Document Writer (from http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/xps/viewxps.mspx — part of "Microsoft XPS Essentials Pack)
